Kits are collections of assets and items that can be used together. This guide explains how to work with global and project kits.
Understanding Kits
Global Kits
Global kits are reusable equipment collections that can be used across multiple projects.
Use Cases:
- Standard equipment sets (e.g., "Basic PA System")
- Reusable configurations
- Template kits for common setups
Features:
- Can be scanned as a single unit during load sessions
- Automatically expands to include all members
- Can be incomplete (missing items tracked)
Project Kits
Project kits are event-specific equipment collections for a particular project.
Use Cases:
- Event-specific equipment combinations
- Custom setups for one-time events
- Project-specific requirements
Features:
- Tied to a specific project
- Can contain assets and items with quantities
- Displayed when scanned (no automatic loading)
Global Kits (Admin Only)
Creating a Global Kit
- Navigate to Kits → Global Kits tab
- Click + Nový Global Kit
- Fill in the form:
- Name: Kit name (e.g., "Basic PA System")
- Notes: Optional description
- Konkrétní kusy (Assets): Volitelně přidejte konkrétní kusy přímo při vytváření
- Nekonkrétní položky (Items): Volitelně přidejte items s množstvím přímo při vytvářen í
- Click Vytvořit
Poznámka: Scan ID se automaticky nastaví z vybraného proxy assetu v kitu. Po vytvoření kitu můžete vybrat asset jako proxy v detailu kitu.
Managing Global Kit Members
Adding Assets
- Open the global kit detail page
- Click + Add Asset
- Select an asset from the list
- Click Add
Adding Items
- Open the global kit detail page
- Click + Add Item
- Select an item
- Enter quantity
- Click Add
Removing Members
- Find the member in the list
- Click Remove or Delete
- Confirm removal
Using Global Kits
During load sessions:
- Scan the kit's QR code
- If complete: All members are automatically loaded
- If incomplete: System shows missing items, scan individual pieces
Project Kits (Producer/Admin)
Creating a Project Kit
- Navigate to a project's detail page
- Click Vytvořit Project Kit
- Fill in the form:
- Name: Kit name
- Notes: Optional description
- Konkrétní kusy (Assets): Volitelně přidejte konkrétní kusy přímo při vytváření
- Nekonkrétní položky (Items): Volitelně přidejte items s množstvím přímo při vytváření
- Click Vytvořit

Managing Project Kit Lines
Project kits contain "lines" - individual assets or items:
Adding an Asset Line
- Open the project kit detail page
- Click Add Line
- Select Asset type
- Choose the asset
- Click Add
Adding an Item Line
- Open the project kit detail page
- Click Add Line
- Select Item type
- Choose the item
- Enter quantity
- Click Add
Using Project Kits
During load sessions:
- Scan the project kit's QR code
- System displays kit details
- Individual items must be scanned separately
Kit Completeness
Global Kit Completeness
When scanning a global kit:
- Complete: All members are present → Automatic bulk loading
- Incomplete: Missing items → System shows what's missing
Checking Completeness
The system automatically checks:
- All asset members are available
- All item members have sufficient quantity
Best Practices
- Clear Names: Use descriptive kit names
- Scan IDs: Assign QR codes to frequently used kits
- Complete Kits: Keep global kits complete for automatic loading
- Documentation: Add notes explaining kit purpose
- Regular Updates: Update kits as equipment changes
